Hello,  This is I believe a Goddess of Time "E".  Seems like it was a common ladies watch at the time.  I thought it was going to be bigger from photos but this is actually a petite watch.  Not many ads for 1945 so I am attaching a different year for what I think is a match.  It is 10KGP, has a pretty clean face but the crystal is really scratched so I will plan on replacing that at some point if I can find one.  In overall nice shape and set, wound and is running.  Thanks.

This is a believe a 1942 Goddess of Time.  This is the first Bulova I have gotten knowing it probably wouldn't work.  I was really curious to see this dial in person before spending more on a working version.  I am happy to say I really like it and will look to add a nice working version at some point.  It came with a nice velvet box and I like the strap so I figure it was still worth getting.  It sets but winds looser than my working watches so I am assuming something is broken.  Thanks for confirming the name and model if there is one.  I found an ad with what looks like the case but the face is different.

Hey all,

This watch belonged to my grandmother who has passed quite a few years ago, I had never thought twice of it until recently when our house caught fire and they had asked me about salvaging certain items. I would like to know what this is, what era its from and maybe just a little more about it. I cant provide any more photos or details as it is sitting in the restoration facility...I hope someone could help identify it.

I believe the watch to be a 1941 "Lorraine". It seems to have been customized showing the initials AM & HW. I picked this watch up for 5 dollars........they said it was broken, so I bought it and winded it and Im watching it tick away like new!

Hi all

I believe this little beauty is a 1939 Goddess of Time.

the 17 jewel unadjusted 6AZ movement is marked with a cresent moon (1938) but the case serial number of 9130391 denotes it as a 1939 model. The case is 10k rolled gold plate and is marked Bulova inside and out. The bracelet is a Hadley and I think it may be the original with the watch. Both watch and bracelet are in excellent condition, and the movement is running well. It looks like this watch has been well cared for.

I believe this may be a 1941 Goddess of time  N variant. It is 10k rolled gold plate case with the serial number B183942.  inside case is marked Bulova fifth Avenue New York. The movement is a 17 jewel 6AH  marked with an asterix. The watch seems to have been well looked after as there are no ware marks at all on either case or bracellet. The crystal has one chip in the top left hand corner. the movement is running strong and seems to keep time

Hi all

this is another ladies watch l have picked up . It is in very good condition apart from needing a new crystal . It looks as though the owner to care of it as it has been serviced a few times over its life. the 17 jewel 6AH movement is running well and keeping time. It is marked with a triangle for 45 and the case serial number starts with a 5 again denotes the 1945 manufacture date. the case is 10K gold filled and has two diamonds in silver at each lug.  The crown is marked Bulova and the band is gold plated Spiedel stainless steel. Having looked through the ads I think this watch may be an "Ethel" from the details in the ad, but I will leave that decision up to the panel

regards George
