No ads I could find from 1928 through 1934 or so.  I believe if one took the bezel of a Miss America (blurry photo and no stars) at http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1930-miss-america-577  they may see the same dial w/ part of it hidden by bezel. I've got a watch similar to Miss America 1930 somewere, and will look at dial w/o bezel.

Case serial matches the date code....nice. Would also appear that they were still using the 1924 Pat which relates to a particular design feature on the dust cover.

Case design is very similar to the 'PRINCINE' yet not engraved on the bezel.

I have a crown for it and don't collect lady bulova watches. If any one needs it PM me.

The stem kinda sticks out a ways on this watch, and the crown just doesn't "look right".  I just got it out and see the previous owner had a little price tag on her of $249 in 2007, although he sold it to me for much, much, much less than that.  She needs a good home, and a name...but alas that may require an ad.

Doesn't the dial kinda out bling the plain case?

Yes it does.  I just found out that a Jlow is not a watch part but an actress...now if I just know who I'd be hip too.

Hey Will, what are the measurements of the crystal? The one on the watch looks too short as there appears to be a gaps at 12 & 6.

DarHin  I musta missed this message above.  I'll get her out and measure the crystal.  Thansk

DarHin  The sides of the crystal fit the case well.  There does look like a small gap at the horizontal bezel sides (in the closeups) but it seats nice and tight. ...too tight for me to try and get out.  Crystal: acrylic raised, tonneau 21.7mm x 11.6mm measured in case at bezel interface
