Dear TexasLady, Can you give a picture of the inside? Or an exact description of the case signature inside?thanks!

Solid cases were often sourced from a variety of casemakers that Bulova used only for this type of watch. (ie. Gold)

Is there a Bulova stamp on the outside case back?

Dear TexasLady, I have never seen this watch in my life. The case is very a-typical of Bulova in both shape as well as engraving. The case being stamped with just 18K doesn’t provide much info either. The last year Bulova had cases just stamped with 18K is 1925. Those watches are still recognisable as a Bulova because of the typical “laurel leaf” engraving on the bezel which your one lacks. Your movement however is from 1926.  In that year all Bulova watches, except for the Pandora, meanwhile had received a full Bulova signature. In conclusion, there is low probability this watch is an original Bulova. The only way to increase the probability, would be if a second one pops up one day.........

Does the case have a hinge, with an inner dust lid?
