11ALCD movement

1967 11ALCD movement. Was it possible to set the date on this movement without having to spin the hour hand 24 hours, in other words, a crown that pulled half way out for date and then full out for time ?

I can't find a data sheet or parts list for this movement, is there a good repository somewhere ?

I believe that you should be able to run the hands past midnight so the calendar changes, then turn back past 8 or 9, then be able to go forward past midnight to advance again. I may be wrong, but give it a try.

The Ranftt site is a good resource for movement info and for the 11ALACD it indicates, as mentioned, that it doesn't have a date quickset so you have to go a little past midnight and then turn back to 9-10, then go back past midnight. Ranftt also includes info for things like the staff needed, hand sizes, lift angle, power reserve, changes in the calibre family, etc.

Thanks to all. the 12/9/10 worked great. Crazy the things you forget, I seem to recall that trick from when I was much much younger :D
