10BC Wild Lugs

Picked 4 watches up today. Very cool case designs. Here is one... Is it a known model?

Thx

Other than the movement, what else is there? Sorry for my ignorance......It is 15 jewels. Here is the back.

Its mid 40s to early 50s...so the date stamp will be inside on the movement. I've had a good look but cannot find anything as yet, although I'm sure I've seen this case before somewhere.

Anyone??

Yeah I've seen it as well.  I don't recall naming this guy.... though I could be wrong.  This model pops it's head up now and again.

Same case was discussed here: http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1945-alexander-2008

Looks like the jury is still out.

The photo on the page at the top: http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1945-alexander-2008

looks to be the same case as yours.

i thought it was the alexander, i thought that is what is name agreed upon...anyway its close i dont' know what else it could be like in the other thread, its the same size as a stamford, but i though they came in rose gold...we did just have a talk about bulova engraving and not engraving watches..so who knows what the name could be and i guess the ad part of the site is down.., i just check the model search, this watch is in there as an alexander...anyway i have been waiting for a while to find a crystal for this model..if anyone has something that will fit let me know...i guess the same size for a stamford will work...i know its not as large as an aronld...
