1927 Trojan vs 1928/29 Conqueror

Submitted by llattuca on January 7, 2018 - 4:21pm

Can someone help me understand the difference between the 1927 Trojan and the 1928/29 and possibly 1930 Conqueror models?  Unless I missed something they appear identical to me?

Thanks!!

This is the typical Bulova marketing.

Every few years they would rename a watch model, with usually no outward changes in appearance, then market it as a "NEW" model to generate fresh interest in the watch for sales.

Some have had 3 or 4 different names before it was discontinued.

I didn't realize determining the year was so important to determining the model...!!! Thank you very much!

It's one of the many pain points we have here when determining the model name of a watch. To complicate things, with many later models, even the band/strap made the model name change.
