Make sure it has the 17 Jewel movement that manually winds and Stainless Steel back.

If it has those traits I'd say it's a match.

it  says stainless steel, waterproof, anti-magnetic, shock resistance or something like that on the back cover dont have the watch with me right now, and how do i tell if it has 17 jewel movements?

It will say so on the movement itself.  Take this movement, for instance:

From the printing on the movement bridges, you can tell the maker, the model number (10AN), where it was made (Switzerland), the number of jewels (15), and the year it was made (1930 - that little 'omega' looking thing on the far right next to the ratchet wheel).

Yours will probably be marked with a two-digit date code like 'L7' - which corresponds to 1957.

got the back off there is a L7 which matches to the back plate also says seventeen jewels,  11AC   on the inside of the back plate it says Us Patent 2 708 338    RP   US Zone GERMANY

Not worth a great deal in its current condition as far as the open market goes. If it has sentimental value then its probably worth getting the case restored or getting a better one that matches the exact design.

The case condition is is what really kills it value.
