Alpha hands

Submitted by Gerard on February 16, 2012 - 1:54pm

I'm looking for a decent vintage set of Alpha hands #63,64,65. New if I have to. Can anyone help me find a set?

Thanks

What Caliber, Color, Length?

For a 10Bt, Yellow, Hour is 1.4mm hole and 5.7mm long measured from the center of the hole to the tip , minute is.66 hole no idea on the length.

Something around those measurements, measured the movement for the holes.

Thanks

For the correct length measure across the Dial from the outer edge of the Minute register to the opposite side at the narrowist point.

Ok all the way across at the narrowest point is 17.7mm. So from that how do you get the length ?

I bought a baggy Full of vintage hands. Allot of nice ones but not one set of Alpha's.

17's should work (?)

You will need G A 17's for the 10BT

Hands will interchange between certain Movements.

10 BC is the parts interchange for the Hour and Minute Hands.

7 AK is the parts interchange for the Seconds Hand.

Will it make a difference to the watch or you guys if I put Dauphine hands on instead?

Still looking for a set of G Alpha's for 10BT #63,64,65.

It's 20mm from side to side however that works.

Any one ?

Gerard,

These Hands should be readily avaialble from any of the parts Houses'.

I have one set of 18's which will not work in Your Case as they will extend across the Minutes register when installed which is a no-no.

Unfortunately the only Alphas I have are for a 7AK.  For the second hand I have some Dauphine in gold, a 2mm and a 6mm, if you think one might work let me know.
