Hi All

I resently ran across a listing on Ebay that shows this watch and a lot of others with the same chararestics However no date codes that I can see.

A little help if you are not too busy.

Thanks

Hi James, without a photo I can't be 100% sure of what you're seeing. Accutrons were originally battery powered tuning fork movement watches first introduced in 1960. In the mid 1970's Bulova converted them to quartz movements and branded them as Accuquartz. In recent times, post 2000 or so, Bulova introduced a line of higher end automatic mechanical movement (25 jewel) watches and branded them as Accutron. It is my understanding that they have ceased production on the line and are phasing them out.

Our mission, here at myBulova, is to recreate Bulova history prior to 1980 as most information post 1980 can be supplied by Bulova itself and they state that they have no records prior to that time. Because our mission really stops around 1980 we don't have any information on the current or recent line of Bulova products.

Accutron morphed into a higher end Swiss line, and was recently discontinued. It has now been replaced by the Bulova 'Accu-Swiss' line. Prices tended to be, and still are, in the $1500 and up range.
