Buying And Selling Etiquette

This question is less about Bulovas than about this specific community.  I've been lurking here for a few months and thought I would simply ask about the appropriate way to approach the owner of a for-sale watch on this site.  What constitutes good manners here?

Hi Neil. You just need to click on "contact seller" under the watch you're interested in and it will open up a private message that you can send to them where you can ask questions and negotiate a deal.

Thanks Merc, that's spot on. All communications between parties are to be kept private either via the private message system or email. The most important thing to remember is to not discuss any financial matters.

I only ask that if a watch is sold then I am made aware so that I can remove it from the for sale section and if required have the owner of the watch update.

If the owner of a watch is not replying to a private message, wait a week and then contact me on admin@mybulova.com
