case makers for bulova

Any one know anything about Master Sutton, did they make cases for bulova. I havea 7 jewel movement in a /sutton 10k RGP case. The movement is a 10AR.

Bulova sold movements and dials to jewellers to fit in cases. This is the likelyhood here. Especially with Sutton cases. Either that or someone has taken the movement out an original Bulova and recased themselves.  File under : 'Frankenbully'

Thanks for the info. I figured it was a non conforming but wanted to be sure. I looked through the listings on trade marks but found no Sutton listed. Is there a way to find out if Bulova sold the 7 jewel movement to a jeweler when  it became obsolete in favor of just destroying them?? If so, how would one be able to find the answer??

My second non conforming in my short 6 months of collecting but I am undaunted and will contine on any way.
