This Accutron Spasceview, which once belonged to Joe Dimaggio, had a pre-auction estimate of $4,000.00, and it went for $20,625.00. Wow. While it's obviously an Accutron 214 Spaceview, does anyone know what that case is called? For some reason or another, Accutron cases acquired various names, like Asymemtric, Alpha, Butterfly, TV, Cushion, etc., and while I've sen this case before, I can't remember what it was called. I suppose it could be "Tuning Fork" case, but I don't think so.
