Lady's Platinum watch

Submitted by b4awl on June 26, 2017 - 10:09am

The watch in question is a rectangle, case is 1 x 1/2" marked Platinum #5329. The inside is filled with 'repair' notations, looks like over 30! The case is set with six baguette blue saphires and fourteen faceted diamonds. The watch is running and keeping time. The movement has no serial number. Markings are Bulova Watch Co. Swiss K IV 518 3Adj. 18 Jewels. The number '63' appears in a tiny trapizoid. The winding stem is set with a saphire also. I would appreciate any comments.

Thanks

Without seeing photos there is not much we can add other than to say It sounds like it's from the early 1920s.

You could look through the 1920s adverts we have on site for a match to your watch.

If you have the watch in hand and can take some photos, please consider adding the watch to the database via: http://www.mybulova.com/adding-your-watch-mybulovacom-database
