Since we are on the subject.....Do you have a stem & crown for a 1933 Envoy 15j 10AN?

Be aware guys that these stems will most likely have to be shortened to fit your watch.  The watchmakers out there already know this.

Good point Jay... sorry...as a Watchmaker, I sometimes take things for granted.

Original stems in the package are designated only for the Movement CALIBER and not the Model/Name of a specific BULOVA watch.  A stem for an 8AE will fit ANY OTHER 8AE movement. (Also, some stems are interchangeable with other movements).

However, since movement calibers were used in MANY DIFFERENT CASES, the stem needs to be trimmed to fit your particular case. Also, great care must be taking in cutting the stem, or the crown will screw on crooked!

Crowns are much the same... there are MANY different types, sizes, styles of crowns. A specific case requires a specific crown.

WAYNE, I DO have a stem for your 10AN movement. This stem is interchangeable with the 10AE and the 10AX. However, the crown needs to be fitted to your case. As far as I know, there is no reference as to what crown fits a particular case as far back as the 1920s. Let me know if you still need this stem.

If you have time to work it, I'll send the watch & you can fit it for me. I don't do innards. Thanks

Use a Dremmel tool to grind it down to size. You have way more control over how much you take off and though it may take 4-5 trys and fittings you won't ever be to short and starting over with another. I use a handheld pin vise to hold the stem while grinding.
