Has anyone seen a 10BA movement with a center seconds hand? Is it rare? I've never seen one before and I was thinking about purchasing it, if it is something unusual. It's a 1945 movement.

There are several examples in the DB, this looks to be a black dial variant of the SURGEON.

Great find. Buy it now. I agree with Bobbee, it looks like a Surgeon or a Nurses watch.

To answer your quest, no not rare....not very common, but certainly not rare.

As JP and Bobee have indicated we have a number of fine example of the watches with this movement and dial.
