Sea King v Jet Clipper v Clipper v Yankee Clipper

I seriously think that this conversation is long overdue.

Just what is the difference between these models? Lets get together and hopefully work this out.

A combination of Date of manufacture, Country of origin and Typographical error of 3rd party advertisers?

Let's line the ads up and see....

The first advertised automatic 'SEA KING' appears in 1969.

The 'automatic' Sea King, not a 'manual wind' Sea King?

'SEA KING' was manually wound from inception in 1955 through 1968 admin, in 1969 We see the first ad for an automatic.

Stephen, this is good, real good, you did one a week or two ago against the Ranger Cadet Lieutenant Bruce too. My question is "Where can you file this so it's easily recalled when I want to refer to it?" Can we have some type of "Research Forum"?

Hmm, thats not a bad idea and would help keep posts like this together. Let me set it up and I'll move this and a few other over to it.

Yeah, as much work as you put into these it's just a shame to see them disappear down the list of long forgotten forum posts.
