I saw a Bulova watch with movement 7AT, the database model such movement is not, it is possible that there would be a unregistered model?

Hi jabs, it is more likely that we haven't gotten around to adding it yet. If you have a good photo, we'd appreciate it if you would add it.

Hi Geoff,

photo that is currently available is bad enough, but the photos are clear signs of Bulova authenticity. Only 7AT model I don´t found in the database. I communicate with the seller to clarify details of movement. If I´ll buy the watch, the picture will be of course available.

The 7AT is the old Felsa 171.

It is all personal opinion, it depends on what kind of Bulovas you are collecting. Some collectors zero in on specific time periods, or styles, ie.; art deco, or different designers like Dior or Genta.

Another possibility is the horological significance in history, like the first automatics, or the development of various technologies like Accutron tuning fork watches. Rarity is another factor, and some watch models are just rarer than others. A watch tied to a historical event or a watch given to or named after a famous person are often more desirable, like the Lone Eagle, or Corrigan.

I was rather thinking of authenticity in relation to the brand Bulova. I collect watch Bulova only a short time and my interest now taking shape, though it now I tends to the style of ArtDeco and older vintages watches.
