Anyone know of a good place for repair and service in the Seattle area?

I have been looking around and have found very few.

Hello,

A good watchmaker is as close as your mail box. Look around the post and I'm sure you can find a good one.

 Hope this helps.  Mike..

Yep... I've actually started sending my stuff out to Mike (timemachines)... he's in Michigan and I'm in northern Minnesota.  5 bucks gets it shipped to him priority 2-3 day mail usually.  He's been very easy to work with and rates are very reasonable after I've looked around quite a bit.

I'll be gone out of town this next week when my watches come in from him but upon my return I'll put up his work... that way you can decide for yourself.  I've been very happy with the communication so far though and I think I've probably found my permenant watchmaker barring my son becoming a bench worker... heh.

P.S.  Except of course he's on of them "double posters" ... you have to watch out for them!  Haha!!

Hi Plainsmen,

What city in Northern Minnesota?  I live in Winnipeg, used to live in Minneapolis.

There are a couple of watch repair specialists here locally but I can't speak to any of them yet (if only my lowball bid on a spaceview would ever go through :)).
