The Dial design has no bearing, it's a 214.

The Caseback will be stamped with a Datecode (Date of manufacture) below the Seriel #

M or N followed by a single numeral.

I was aware that it's a 214. I thought certain dial designs had different names. I seem to see a lot of the same logo orientations. This one just seemed odd.

Thx

just curious? how do you set this watch? i guess the thing next to the battery cover? this might be a cool design but isn't nessisary, probably easy to break or mulfunction...

The 'D' ring lifts and turns to set the Hands.

I like that mentality - 'This watch is so accurate, we don't have to make it convenient to set, because you'll only need to do it once!'

the idea was to create an accurate watch for official type time keepers and to actually make it a  little hard tp fiddle with it as to keep the time accurate , ie dont mess with the little turny thingy and mess up the time.

I love Accutrons and have some but the frustrating thing about trying to collect them is identifying them. Sometines I think they didn't never made two alike. I have concluded that model names/numbers can't necessarily be assigned to them except in the general sense such as an Alpha or Astronaut etc.
