UPDATED info:

I have bought this Bulova from eBay in september 2012. It seems to be the Envoy, but the movement has only 7 jewels instead of 15.

My local watchmaker (who serviced it) told me it was aluminium, but after a few posts from you guys and some better looks at the case (it does have an "F", it turns out to be goldplated. Up to know my best guess is that it is a lower-priced version of the Envoy, because of the simpler movement.

It has been owned by the son of German immigrants who moved to the USA in the 1860's and who settled in or near Holland, Michigan and was a christmas gift. As is engraved in the back.

I use this watch on a daily basis since it is small, light and comfortable to wear. Also it keeps time very good :)

Additional Information:

The first tonneau design Bulova of the 1930s. Notice the familiar diamond & ball engraving pattern used on the 1931 Lone Eagle III & 1932/1933 President. Also interesting to note is the smooth sides on the case, no more opposing arrows. This watch must be pretty scarce, it's the first one I have seen, other than the ad.

The ads are dated 1934.
