Cadet Style

This Cadet Style watch just sold for a little over two hundred dollars. WOW! Might be good to study up on these watches. Engraved bezel  with a 1-12 dial, 10BA movement, O date symbol = 1944. What is the model name of this watch?

Wayne, if You watch the nicely presented pieces they are all going for nice change, even the non-original restords. A nice, well presented original looking 30's Clipper just went for $400. Upswing in valie or time of Year?

Be foreworned however. As already stated in a previous post, this seller has very poor redials on most of the Bulova's they sell. Having been the unfortunate buyer of two, the Bulova signature on the dial is a poorly printed one on a thin layer of what I can only describe as sticky tape and then put on top of the painted dial. Almost impossible to see in the photos but very clear when in hand.

A 1928-30 Curtis in great condition also sold for $280. I want one, but not that bad!

Everything about this ruby watch seems wrong. The movement is 1934 but the case sure isn't, its not even a Bulova case...and the dial...well...just looks wrong.

I have three pics of different styles of similar ruby dials all with the Bulova signature. This link above has the smallest diamonds & the bigger price. We had a discussion the other day about a members ruby dialed watch. They seem to be popping up all over. I can match it with a pic in my files. Does a pair equal authentic?

Wayne to digress from the original post, the biggest problem I have with the rubied watch show in the above ebay ad is that I believe that the movement is 1934 and the case isn't a Bulova case.

LOL!!!! Seems everyone including me has digressed from the original post. But who cares, we seem to be enjoying it.

I totally agree that's not a Bulova case
