What year is this dual dial Doctor's?

21 Jewel, 7AP

This thing is so sweet... I would love to have it for my own, but as it's already at $71 with over 4 days left on the auction I'm assuming it's going to skyrocket.

I think I make out the Square Shield on the movement?  Maybe... whose got better eyes?  Isn't that a 1930's crown?

Anyway I'm thinking we need to put this bad boy in the watch list after we figure out the year... and one of you needs to buy it so we can enjoy it foreber rather than it be in some dudes collection who doesn't post here!  haha....

Yeah looks like a shield to me too. 7ap movement used between 37 through 42 according to the new movement chart. Hard to date this one. I'm guessing 1939 or 1940. All though the crown looks 20's to me, but thats just a guess too.

Noting the jeweled crown to be a womanly Nurse style, any jewler could convert this to a manly Doctors watch, just by changing the crown. Makes me wanna put it on and go check pulses! Beautiful watch!

Wayne, I was thinking the same thing about the crown being made for a womans watch.
