Im tryin to learn all about this watch recently handed down from my grandfather

Here's what I know. 21 jewels, B-10K gold filled imprinted on upper of backing. 9442214 imprinted on bottom of backing. Pics are available now

Ok I finally got pics up.  I think I was wrong about the omega stamping though.  Anyway hopefully this will help me to learn more about my watch

 That is B -10k Gold filled. The 'B' is for Bulova To add a photo:

  • Just click the little mountain pic at the top of the text box
  • go to Upload tab,
  • choose file from pc
  • Click SEND TO SERVER.
  • Change first size in box to about 480 and enter .
  • Photo will show in the text box

Omega would date it to 1940 which to Me doesn't feel quite right for the Dial/Hand style, looks mid/late 50's +

Here's one from 1967 that passed through my shop a few years back.  Not the same watch but kind of the same basic styling.  Possibly they are from the same era.

My vote is 1967 also & probably has manual windup 10CL movement per the example. The following watches are similar sized watches from 1967. I don't know the model names or if they had any.

xorphanx - I have this exact watch in white gold, I know that Bulova also made this same style in yellow. Mine has a 10BZC 21j movement. The date code on the back of mine is M4 (1964). I'd be surprised if your's did not have a date code or if it varied more than a year or two from 1964.
