The three dials of the Surgeon

There they are in all their glory gents.... the white dialed Surgeon, two-tone Blackhawk, black dial Surgeon...

I call them my surgical team.... they have a scrub Nurse as well but she's not pictured.... = P

Took a few months.. but these bad boys will hopefully be sported on my son's wrists to impress the ladies in 20 odd years!  They'll be staying in the collection.

Thanks Mike!  I've been wanting to get them all and post this since I saw the two-tone 4 months ago.  It took me this long them get them... I think they do look sweeet!

Well Wayne... spans a decent few years.  From Left to Right:

White Dial - 1945,  Two-Tone - 1944, Black Dial - 1952

Wonder why some have Red Sweep hands and some don't, my 51' has a red sweep and your 52' has a gold sweep.. Another Bulova Mystery?

Do you think that the Hour and Minute hands were Radium filled on the later models?
