Hrmmmm....  just picked this up about 15 minutes ago for a song.   I really dig  that quasi-military look.

Is there starting to be more of these auctioned or just a coincidence?  And What watch is this?

This looks to be the same watch Wayne posted up... different crown though.

I dont want to have to restore a military one, when I get one it will be used but well cared for...my whole family has been military and I want complete authenticity...great buy tho fo sho !!!   I hope the case isn't pitted, looks like it may be a little bit. Hands look pretty good, and even though I dont like engraved backs, that one is nice, and I am sure it has some real history behind it !!!

I dunno Shooter.. you know I've quite a few vets in my family as well... including dad and his brothers in the 'Nam, other uncles in Korea, Grandpa in WWII...

I myself was in the Army NG for 6 and 2.... joined in 1992 out in 2000... right in the middle of both Gulfs.. but didn't go to either.  12B Combat Engineer...  Ft. Benning... Ft. Leonardwood.

I think of grabbing these old Military watches that have been left abused an undwanted a different way.  Instead of being respected and well cared for... these old watches weren't...   say it's sort of like giving the respect back to them.  Get all junked up... and restoring them to their former glory so to speak.

Giving them another chance....

PLUS... heh... if your only going to collect watches all fixed up.... be prepared to spend buccu dollars... which is of course.... Numba 10 Joe... Numba 10.
