The most intricate Bulova I've ever seen... what is it?

Submitted by plainsmen on February 23, 2011 - 9:19pm

I picked this up today for my wife.  I absolutely find it incredibly schweet!

I believe I see a Crescent Moon on the movement for 1928.  I can't make out movement 5??

Also I'm pretty sure I see flowers etched into the dial as well as silverwork? etched flowers in the enamel and a etched hummingbird in the lower right?

The back case is also etched with flowers... this is by far the most intricate watch I've ever seen produced by Bulova...

Sorry about the big pictures but you have to check out this detail.... it damned near makes me want to play for the other team!  Muahahahahaha!!  It's for my wife dammit!!  HONEST!!!

It's a Colette(at least in this ad).  Another great score by the plainsmen.

That's very nice, and sweet, but as a member of the fairer sex myself, I have to say that, if you really loved her, you would buy her this one with a starting bid of $3,799.00.  Come on, cough it up, big man.

Wow!  I'd almost be willing to have your children for that Collette, and I don't even know you! :)  I hope she appreciates it.
