some 46-49 Bulova's will have different stampings, see the info tab and Bulova date codes for examples.

A9 is correct for 49.

That info isnt show on the drop down...Thanks for clearing that up...the dial also has an issue, the sub sec window is oddly shaped, almost oblong or as if it was double stamped but moved slightly.

its a beutifull watch otherwise

I want to bid on it but I worry about fakes, its dirt cheap still, but shouldnt be,and from the UK so I hesitate (nothing against the UK, just hard to really resolve issues overseas)

The seller has perfect feed back on over 1800 sales so I shouldnt worry but $ is tight and I would pay a bit for this one !

The faceted crystal is making the dial look distorted in the pictures, those crystals make it very hard to get a clear picture, you have to take them at just the right angle so you don't get distortion.

I thought it could be the crystal . Or a double stamp during manufacturing (That could raise value)  .

I must Apologize again to the the seller, Gj watches. It was never my intention to question your integrity, but only to gain info on the Item . I sometimes have no abilities with the english language and word things very poorly without thinking of how those words could be interpretted. You have more than shown your level of quality and integrity with your items to be very high and again, my apologies for sometimes being a moron.

I didn't Initially look at the feedback on the auction or who the seller was ( I am an idiot ) and just sent my question (to you and to here) without thought...I should have worded the question much differently, and paid attention to the feedback and I would have known not to fear fraud with you as a seller. I am new at this ebay stuff and never thought to research the sellers feed back , I never even looked at it or who the seller was untill Old ticker assured me of who you were and that you were a very reliable seller. I just had questions and basically blurted them out without a thought. It was very inconsiderate of me to do so.

Again my apologies.

Hello, Not a problem at all no offence taken. Sometimes, like today I have little time to give a full explanation with three kids (7mths-8 yrs) to take to Gym-Football and Swimming at the weekends.....madness

It is the crystal that distorts the photos. This Treasurer model had this as orignal from what i can gather from crystal books.  I have just sent a further reply with more detail with regards to date codes and another site to check codes on too......... I am however wondering why A8/A9 is not in the date list on here?
