Found this over Plainsmen's super sale weekend... my first Lady Academy Award. Looks like 1949 as per the movement. Non-running right now but pretty cool looking anyway!

Yeah I don't trust ones without the ribbed gold dial... I don't think those are AA's at all. Those are just a cheap woman's watch someone slung into the AA box to get the price up. I've noticed 3 of them in the last couple days... this is the first real woman's AA I've seen in awhile.
Yah...
BUT the boxes, are what UPS the price... so snipe' em! (And then add the PREFERRED watches, later!!)

P.S.
And OH, BTW... LOOK VERY CLOSELY at the LADIES dials, in these ads... and tell me what you SEE:
HINT: IT MIGHT STILL BE CONSIDERED A TAD BIT, "CONTROVERSIAL???" (WINK...)
And... I'd like to say that Jerin's first Ladies "AA" is a model "H," however... the dial looks a bit different, for some reason? Maybe we just need some more ADS, eh?? Priced from $49.50... HMMM... Would that be for the ladies watch from Price Tier "A," then? Or perhaps another $10.00 for the "Star Attraction??" And what of the men's "less expensive" models? Maybe at Sears, Pennys or Wards??? :-)

LOL...
Really??? Well my last "AA" (H2O testing) post clearly proved that MANY people out there (including several of the more "prominent" members of this website and eBay...) still believe/claim/advertise, OTHERWISE...
And thanks for mentioning me "on down the line..." for contributing here... (Since I added 20+ more models, in the last week... ID'd several more for others, made a few more valid points (based on logical reasoning, to varied knowledge, etc.)
