Looks like there's maybe sort of a handstamped "Triangle" under the Swiss stamp?  Would this be 1926 movement?

I think the fact that the only date for the 9A listed in the database is 1925 simply means that we only have an example of the 9A from 1925.  Looks like Plains has a 1926 example, though we don't know what model it was in originally.

Seems like, without a doubt, it is a very old movement.

Plains

Lisa is correct. Please include 1926 to the Movement db, please. My 1925 9A is lonely.

Don't neccessarily go by the serial number, I've recorded a 1931 4AL movement with a serial number of 4201 and a 1930 4AL with a number of 2826.

To this day I have no idea what if any logical sense Bulva applied to their movement serial numbers.

Oh and I have given the 9A entry in the movement database a new buddy.
