Need help identifying watch and value.

Submitted by sumdume on March 25, 2011 - 4:48pm

A neighbor wants to sell a Bolova Accutron Astronaut watch.  The back is stamped with the following information:  A 28273 and M6.

I believe the M 6 indicates the watch was made in 1966.  However, I do not know what the other number means.

Can anyone help.

We can not give you any info without a photo. A good place for you to start would by clicking the Information tab above and search the 1966 Bulova ads. Then click on the Search tab above & look thru the Accutron watches in the data base. The info is probably there, you just have to look for it.

We don't do appraising here, but a search of ebay accutron watches up for auction will give you an idea of value.
