Identifying 1966 Bulova, need help

Submitted by jearl on March 27, 2011 - 3:33pm

Hi, I'm trying to identify a watch that was given to me by my grandfather.  The back reads:

Bulova
Waterproof
Stainless Steel Case
Shock Resistant
Anti Magnetic
I781424  (first letter is an I as in igloo)
M6

I understand the M6 means 1966, but I've searched through the 1966 images and the 1966 ads, and nothing looks like a match.

Thanks for any assistance.

Forgot to mention, the band is not the original.

Not a 'PRESIDENT' they became 30 Jewel auto's in 1964.

The  ad You are showing Fifth is from 1964. LOL

It's a Date King "H". Original band to by the looks of it.

Identical!

'DATE KING'

Interesting that there are two very similar 30 Jewel Auto's with Date display.

The Date King H ad indicates 14k gold.

Jearl's description list the watch with Stainless Steel case.
