Here's the original ad I just got in yesterday.. it was my bad saying it was the G... it's not the G as this obviously shows it's the "Q"

BAH!!  Though with this being black and white it doesn't really show what color gold that is....

Sweet Find Plains, Kudos to you. Having the magazine will date the ad as well. My hat's off to you!

This is s fab find, it dismisses any notions anyone could have , myself included. Congratulations!

Thanks!  Yeah  I just bought the magazine... actually not just a magazine:

Ringling Bros Circus Magazine & Program 1951

Remember Bulova was the official watch of the Ringling Bros Circus!  Maybe there are ads in some of the others.

Nice one Jerin!

It will be nice to have that ad in the database, Bulova must have went from the official watch of the Academy Awards to Ringling Bros, or from one circus to another!

Hey Jerin,

This is exactly why I have always maintained that something has to be in hand, original and verified. 1st it was the "N", then "G" and now that you have it in hand and verified it, we have the " Q ". Awesome.

Not to take away from a great find, your ad still proves the use of the 2-tone X dial in an academy award model regardless of which one we thought it might be. The pic you sent me is just awesome and I'll return the favor when I get the Spiegel's catalogue. You might want to copy admin so he can update the ad on file with yours as the resolution is far better.
