Nova thought maybe a gold Governor?  I have no clue.

Obviously not my pictures and I have no clue on stamping... I'll let you know when I get it and when I get back from my trip.

I'll fill in until he gets here, OK? Case looks to be a Governor. Dial looks a bit off where the minute track meets the seconds chapter. It will be interesting to see what the movement is in it.

Yeah the dial isn't something I've seen before I don't think.  To have the inner dial scrolling go right into the seconds dial print.

Don't really see many gold toned cases from this era.  Heck... maybe I'll get lucky and get a solid.

Hmmm. . . maybe I'm misunderstanding you. . . having the inner scrolling run into the subdial is very common in the 20s models.  I have 14 of them in my collection that have that dial configuration.

Check out the late 20s models in the database.

The track mismatch was the first thing I noticed. If the movement is a 10AN what is the reason for the uneven track. Just wondering why!

Plaines

The Governor was produced in a 14k gold case. Good luck on that.

Good question, Wayne, but I need a clearer pic to comment on your observation.  It will be very interesting to see this one, when Plains shows us some of his excellent pics.

How was that for ducking the question and buying myself more time?  ;>}

I just noticed my Gov junction isn't perfect either. This is no way negates the quality of the watch. It may be an optical dulusion.

Yeah excited to see what it looks like.  Well worth what I snagged it for already.
