Does anybody have a model name to go with these 2?

Hi, I am new to the forum and mainly collect the 'competitor' GRUEN. However I do own a few Bulova's and with two of them I haven't been able to find a model name so far. I hope any of you may be able to help me?

The first one has a 23j Automatic 10BPAC calibre in a14k solid case, dated 1958 (L8). The second one is an Automatic 30j 10BZAC calibre also in a 14k solid case, dated 1960 (M0).

The 30 jewel case looks like the Sea King M case in this 1961 ad. The Sea King M is 17j. I believe your solid gold case & 30 jewels would over-qualify your watch to be a Sea King. Not much help but case shape matches

It sounds like you have your dates reversed.  The M8 case would be 1968 and the L0 is 1950

M0=1960

M8=1968

L0 is not mentioned

Hi, There are ads in 1950/59 showing a very similar case 23 Jewel as one of the "Excellency" watches.

I believe the 30 Jewel was simply called a "Bulova 30" like alot of the "Bulova 23's". There is only 1 ad with a 30 J listed but the case is far different. It's listed as a "Bulova 30".
