I am unsure of how to open the watch so I cannot get a picture of the inner parts at this time.
I got this watch from my grandmother, but am unsure of it's history before that. I know nothing about pocket watches. After a few google searches, I learned how to properly set the time and wind the watch, but not how to open it (it doesn't unscrew and I don't want to pry at it).
There are no symbols or markings on the watch, only some text on the back saying it is gold plate and the brand. I am assuming the serial number is on the inside somewhere...
The watch is in working condition & keeps time well. I'd love to know more about it!

We don't have much on Bulova pocketwatches on-site. I don't collect Bulova pocketwatches myself. I do have a Railroad Quality collection of pocketwatches. To gain access to the movement on most pocketwatches, lay the watch dial down in your left hand. With your right hand grip the engraving on the outer edge of the rear section of the watch and turn it in the counter-clockwise direction. The back should easily unscrew. With the back removed don't touch the movement with your fingers. Document any stamped text or markings on the movement. If the back doesn't unscrew, take it to a jewler.
I checked my pocketwatch info book and could not find anything on Bulova pocketwatches. Check out this link below for info on the oldest Bulova pocketwatch on-site. If any other members have some Bulova Packetwatch knowledge, don't hesitate to chime in.
