Unknown 1949, 7AK, 21 Jewel... unusual lugs.

Picked this one up today on an auction on that site.  I thought I had a ringer for Bourg01's 1948 Unknown but upon further review the lugs don't match up.

I have a feeling I've seen this one before but I can't place it at all.

Here's the size the seller gives... it's in inches.. so bear with me.

Size: 1 3/8" Lug to Lug, 7/8" wide excluding the crown

Looks to be a 7AK, 21 Jewel movement stamped "49".

The pictures (the sellers) actually aren't that bad.  I'll replace them with some better ones when I get the watch.... but for now they'll do.  What say you gents?

That's where I've seen it... you had one like this didn't you Greg?  Or someone did anyway... did we ever find an ad for this?

No ad that I know of, and the crystal is the standard 21.6mm x 17.6mm so its one of the many models.

Neat looking faux leather expansion band, and very clean dial, looks like a winner!

One of my suggestions was a "clickable" icon for every member, so people can "view" what every individual uploaded/loads...

Case in point, no. 50?!       http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1949-his-excellency-ww-2426

Then perhaps "key word, searchable," webpage listings? If one typed in say "excellency," " his excellency," or "her excellency..." that might deliver a LOT of results... But the edu process would be GREATLY enhanced... As well as the likelihood of finding images, illustrations and data to support IDs!
