Here's some really useful information that might just help us all figure out what the model name of a watch is by the year its names was first used and then filed as a Trade Mark.

This information has been sourced from the United States Horological Trademark Index.

I have extracted those pages relating to Bulova Trademarks from 1917 to 1960

I hope this will help us resolve those watch IDs were a model has muliple names over the years.

An example.....the Bulova 'Lone Eagle' name was first used 13 June 1927 and filed as a Trade Mark 4 days later on 17 June 1927.

There's also a nice reference to the Peter Pan model.
