Hi Tahl,

That's a very handsome watch! Do you by chance have a way (perhaps Digital Calipers?) to measure the length and width of the crystal, on this timepiece? The case appears to be almost identical to this watch??

Please view:   http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1936-physician-1647

and also the related crystal specs. I posted in the comments, below...

THANKS :-)  Scott

Hmmmm. . . it appears that we don't have any support for this ID?  Anyone have an ad that shows a 1933 Gladiator with this case?

Tahl - can you tell us how you made this ID?

Its not 1933. Can you please update this to the correct year.

Admin -

I have the same watch (well, the same case, at least), and it too dates to 1933, unless there's some other year associated with the "X" symbol?  I listed mine today under 1933 - Unknown.  Any help identifying would be greatly appreciated.

Ohhh, I just realized that there's also an "X" for 1943.  Can't believe I missed that!

Here's an ad for a 1943 Commodore.   Case shape look right, except it doesn't show a recessed crown.

This watch has since been identified as a 1933 Oakley.
