Bulova Chrono's

Submitted by FifthAvenueRes… on September 26, 2011 - 5:32am

The hammer fell on 2 nice Bulova Chronographs Yesterday, when the dust cleared.....

WWII'ish 2 register Chronograph. Sweet! - $600.00 U.S.

Early 1950's Single button. Restored - $725.00 U.S.

I wanted the 2 register but needless to say neither made it to My collection.

Maybe next time.

additional info, images avail.

Love the chrono's....we don't see too many of these beauties from Bulova which makes them all the more special.

Yes, I really wanted the 2 reg and had My 'best shot' ready, when I went to pull the trigger the price popped $100 which blew Me out of the Water......oh well, next time.

Is this considered a Chrono? It has an 11AN movement that I am currently working on, but need a few parts. I've not seen one like this. The case is marked 77J48. I like the look:

Currently have 2, a 666ft Chrono and the Sportstimer Chrono stop watch, both need a little work but My guy wont touch them...

I'd let them both go for the WWII 2 reg chrono above, that thing rocks.
