Maybe an Oceanographer? Early 70's?

I like the look of the watch and it has a 11ANC movement. The case—outside—is marked: 77J48.

The inside is marked: 9812

Any ideas what this may actually be?

Interesting watch Dave, seems like the Oceanographers were all marked 333 or 666 feet on the dial. Your case looks lke something from the "Jet Star" line. By the mid 70's many of the Bulovas only had model NUMBER designations (like 12345). What's the date code on this one? I like the linen dial.

Wow, I guess the date code would have been nice in my original post: N6

So, looks like a mid 70's watch. The dial is marked  Waterproof 110 feet. It has a mat dial that is interesting, and the red "24hr" numbers. I bought this a few weeks ago from the bay and it was in England, so maybe something built for Europe.

I am actively looking for a spare 11ANC for a few parts. I want this one alive again.

Thanks,

Dave...

...and, the case is a three-part case. It has the face, the back and another cover for the movement. It was well made for the water...

Yes, the case appears to be close or a match to the Golden Clipper.
