OK Ladies and Gents....get out your Ladies and Gents sets.

Submitted by mybulova_admin on October 8, 2011 - 3:11am

We have started to see more and more matching His and Her sets of late.

I thought it'd be a nice opportunity to start a thread to showcase all those wonderfuo His and Her sets that Bulova released.

Come on...I know they're out there. Lets look to get them all under the one post.

I think the black dialed ones were the "Air King".

Could be correct...but what about the ladies version, we've not seen a ladies version of the Air King.

Jay, what say you?

Im sorta shocked that Bulova never produced a 'Mr America' to go with all of those nice 'Miss Americas'....

These two aren't a pair but dating and quite fond of one another.

Undocumented... but I believe this has all the signs of a 1930's His & Her's Ambassador Set.

Here is her mate, looks like an interracial couple, he is hinged with a 7J 10AB and born in 1935, and she decrowned him at one time. ; )

1934 IMO Jeff and I've seen the Hand combination before on several mid 30's pieces. Always the Modern Hour Hand and Index Minutes Hand, interesting.

'36 'TRESURER' - 17 Jewel 6 AE same Hand combo - which, under closer scrutiny looks like an Index style Hour Hand with 'wings'. It's not a true Modern style Hand.

* The Hour Hand showing on timerestoration's Watch is identical.

I think Your She is a He Jeff, 17 or 21 Jewels?

It's 17 Jewels... I just think I have seen that same case style in a larger size. This one is Small!

Is this the earliest advertised pair we have seen. Nice find!

admin,

Both appear in 1928 ad 4 but not as a pair, the image above is an edit to show them both side by side.
