Any further information gratefully received 11AFC - Identified as a Senator...so far, thanks.

Hello,

First post from me. Thought it would be worthwhile joining the forum as my collection of Bulova's is growing...currently three including this one and an Accutron 2181 and an Accuquartz.

Wanted a manual for the collection and liked the movement of this one, the 11AFC, but dont know more than that about it, such as model number etc. The dial is grubby and has a raised effect, movement working fine, and just about to go for a service.

1960 accorning to movement and case

Serial 161575

Any thoughts and ideas to model or similar versions, or just any further info would be appreciated.

Many thanks, Rich

My 1957 Senator I just found the band for it & the watch decided it wanted to be serviced. I'm not sure about my movement designation, but it is probably the same as yours.

Thanks Wayne, yes certainly seems similar, happy now that it is a Senator, thanks to this forum!!

Initially all the Senators I looked at appeared in the square cases, but the superb advertising of Bulova and dedicated members of this site have help identify it.

More pics after it returns from its service.

Thanks again.  Rich
