Bulova's "AAA" markings on movements.

Hi All,

We've been asked the question, what does "AAA" mean stamped on a Bulova movement and for the most part quessed it was a "quality" mark of some kind. Now I'm pretty certain that's all it is because I found it stamped in this 1930 "Edwin" case.

Shawn, so what your saying is our "guesswork" is correct??? Imagine that  :-)

Happy Thanksgiving buddy, and yes I realize it's a "American" thing but I hereby adopt you as "Kin" giving you all the rights but no responsibilities!!! Tell them that I said it was OK next time you cross the border :-0

Yep, I think that now that we've seen it in a case under the "BULOVA QUALITY" banner, that's all it could be IMO.

Sometimes we just have to chaulk things up to "devine intervention" IMO

I saw a 1929-1931 mens case marked AAA so Bulova has tried it way early in the game. Given another week I can probably find the pic.

Happy Canada Goose Day to You & Yours

Here is AAA on movement. Symbol appears to be a square=1935
