I picked this up from a co-worker this week, thinking it would be good for my 9 year old son who likes vintage watches. It is getting a nice black leather band. It runs great it is stamped M6 on the case and M5 on the 7BPC movement. Case number is 2-108915. I am pretty sure its a ladies watch but it is the perfect size for a child. I cant find any info about it anywhere. Any info would be nice. Thanks
Definitely appears to be all Bulova. The ad database for mid 60's is a little sparse, hopefully another member will recognize and have a name for you.
Try adding it to the data base as a 1965 "Unknown" with all the details and as many pics as you can and maybe we can come up with a ID for you, but at 29mm case size, that's no "Ladies" watch.
Will be a great starter watch for your son, sounds like we've got another budding Bulova collector :-)
i agree with simple treasures 29mm is not a ladies watch. i have seen several accutrons direct from the factory normal mens size with womens accutron movements. my research on these pieces showed that the ladies accutrons were not selling well and the extra movements were fitted into mens cases and sold at a reduction. perhaps and this is not wrote in stone this piece is similar. anyway still a nice find. congrats on your son getting interested in bulovas
