Late 1960s Sea King?

Submitted by ALF on December 17, 2011 - 12:24pm

I hope that someone may be able to help me identify a watch found after my father died.  It has an unusual case shape that  have not seen before.  The movement code is 11ANACD.  M9 on the back implies a 1969 build date.  I am trying to identify it so i can begin the refurbishing process for my son.  Any help would be appreciated

Hi ALF... we'd need to see at least a picture of the front and back.  The watches date code of M9 indicates it was producted in 1969.

There were quite a few different men's models produced in 1969....  as of yet we don't have that 11ANACD movement in the database.  Our ads and information on late 60's models is quite scarce, bu ti if you look up top under INFORMATION and then down to ADS... someplace around page 10 you should find ads for late 60's watches.  You may get lucky and find your fathers watch there.

Good luck!

I struggled intially with posting images.  Think that's been resolved.  Thanks for the help - and if you can't see the images please let me know
