Movement for which 1929?

Looks like a 1929, 8AT or 9 AT ?  I'm assuming 9 as I don't know if they made an 8AT in '29.

Serial number is 422121.

The funny thing is the rarest thing with this movment is the HOLDER!  Haha.... I picked it up thinking I'll have use for it one day.

4 movements in holders... a Bulova, Waltham, Illinois, and a Monarch sans holder.  Neat old Bulova though... cathedral hands and dial intact.

Nothing rare here Plains, You have a rectangluar holder with the dust cover ring (missing plastic cover).

Still they can come in handy when rebuilding a watch. I'm in current need of a holder for a 13AF.

Dial and hands are sweet and worth having just for them.

Looks like a 9AT to me and my serial number database confirms.

Did you ever find that movement holder for that LE 2 case you got?
