I inherited this watch but can't identify what it is. The box says that it's a La Petite but the case number doesn't match anything I've seen. Any help identifying this watch would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. I have just a few more questions.
1) Does it look like it has the original watch band/bracelet on it? The box states 23 jewels fashioned in diamonds but I don't see 23. Wasn't sure if it had a diamond bracelet originally.
2) Where would I find the movement date code? Do I need to open the back of the watch up?
3) I know that I'll need to take it to a jewelry appraisal for an official number but any idea if it's worth hundreds of dollars or if it's closer to $1000? I don't want to pay $100-$200 for an appraisal just to find out it's only worth $250.
1) the 23 jewels relates to the movemet and not the case.

3) Its a lovely watch that is solid 14k gold with a heap of diamonds. So yes it is valuable but again our policy here is to not put a price an anything.
