And yet another odd one

The quest for the elusive Academy Award can result in some strange finds.

An Academy Award style curtain dial with a 21J 10BM movement stamped 1950 (L0) in a Treasurer case dated 1952 (L2).

Another AA recycle job with a model name we haven't yet found an ad for?   Or the dreaded Frankenbully?  Or a valid AA?  (For those who may not recall, the 10BM is another movement frequently seen in the AAs.)

I can say that the curtain dial looks really sharp in the Treasurer-style case.  If someone "bullied" this together, they were clever about it.

This one is definately a AA " Z " dial and movement soneone dumped in a Treasurer case. I'd be looking for the proper case for this one. In fact I'd buy this from you if the price is right and hold it till I found a Z model case.

I wouldn't rule it out of the AA equation just yet, after all we have the AA "Z" which could potentially mean we have 26 varieties of the AA. I agree the dial is the Z type and the case it the same as the Treasure, but we do not know for certain that Bulova didn't combine the two to make yet another AA model.

I'd go "Unknown' for now.
