I already got a watch from that guy last week.  Black dialed His Excellency.  PRIMO shape... very clean... no wear.  I'm totally stoked that this one looks to be in the same shape.

I'm thinking that guy must have bought out someones collection.  He obviously is letting them go for undervalue and they all seem to be ready wear watches.

Albeit that one needs the correct gold hands.  I'm still pretty happy with a clean watch with a great dial at that price.

Yeah i saw that... hopefully he's confused. like i said before, they might not know better. I'm guessing a cuut and paste job from the His Excellency ad I won last week.

Woof... that's some dudes duking it out there.  No way those things go for that.  Anomaly imo.  But nice sale for that guy.

EDIT:

WOW... just looked at the case wear on that Berkshire on the back... eww.  That Waltham front case is a brassing nightmare.  Yeah... that had to be two guys caught up in a moment.  Happened one time when I was selling a 1957 shiny gold dial'd President.  POW.. $300+... I was like GASP!  WOOO HOOO!!

You know gents... if you want you can have stuff shipped to me and I'll just put it in the mail to you.  I'm sure there are a few of the other old timers on here that would do the same for ya if I'm on the road.

I've done it a couple times for Stephen to Austriaila from U.S. only auctions.

tell me about it! tried contacting a few but usually won't answer, or won't post abroad.

Even while looking, I didn't see the watch till this thread, or I woulda bid a little more than it closed for.  Sure is funny how I can miss some listings, and at the same time, find some obscure ones.  O well....  Hope one of us got this nice watch.

Yep... that happens all the time.  It's easy to miss something when on the weekends like this you've got 10-20 watches ending every few minutes.
