Acadamy Award ?

I have just bought this watch which I believe is a 1950 Acadamy Award. I believe this watch face has been discussed on other threads , but here is another one.

Full details of the watch please so it can be properly discussed. It hard to provide advise based on one picture of a watch alone.

Do you have any mor photos or info about the movement and back of the watch?

Looks like an AA "G" variant to me at first glance.

Based on the Movement Datecode I would agree the Watch is an 'ACADEMY AWARD'.

 

I'm waiting for this one to arrive.....

...and suspect it will be Dated prior to 1950 - the box says late 1940's.
